JustFoodForDogs is fresh, healthy, vet-recommended food for dogs and puppies. "We’ve made it our mission at JustFoodForDogs to improve the length and quality of life for as many pets as possible—through real food and nutrition. We always say our food brings more years, more life, more love!" Representatives from JustFoodForDogs will be on hand to talk about their products, New York City kitchen locations, and give samples to all dogs in attendance. 

Get to know a dog breed at the AKC Museum of the Dog!
 
Each month we are highlighting a different breed from the 200 recognized breeds in the American Kennel Club. You’ll learn the history of the breed as well as key characteristics of their anatomy and coat that help them meet the standard. Activities include art-making, stories and books, a collectable breed fact sheet, and an opportunity to meet a live dog. 

January's Breed Spotlight: Cairn Terriers

This event is free for Members and included with General Admission.

Join us for evening art classes you can do with your partner or pals! 

At this Art After Hours, work on a paint by numbers canvas featuring everyone’s favorite cartoon beagle. Given the size of the piece, one canvas will be completed by each group. Special guest appearance by local Instagram sensation @bruno.el.beagle to help us learn more about the breed.

Tickets for this event include:

• All art supplies 
• Admission for 1-3 people
• Light snacks and soft drinks.

We will enjoy a fun, furry friendly, fireworks free celebration of the year of the Rabbit!

Join the New York Adventure Club for an exclusive after-hours tour at the AKC Museum of the Dog!

Led by Sarah Moshenberg, the AKC Museum of the Dog’s Learning and Engagement Manager, the exclusive after-hours, behind the scenes tour will give you access like you've never had before. We will take a deep dive into the history of dog art and artists from the last 300 years as well as sneak a peek at items not currently on view. 

From Affenpinschers to Yorkshire Terriers and everything in between! AKC Meet the Breeds® is coming to NYC in 2023, giving dog lovers a unique opportunity to meet, play with, and learn about hundreds of dogs!  

The AKC Museum of the Dog will have booth at the event featuring extra fun activities. Come say hello to your favorite MoD staff while learning about and petting many pups!
