    Furry Fridays are here! Buy your ticket for you and your dog to visit the Museum during our special "furry" friendly hours. The first Friday of each month will one of the rare opportunities for you to bring your dog to the Museum! Buy your tickets today!

    On the Trail of Lassie’s Tale

    Friday, July 10 12pm — 1:30pm

    Join us for a talk with Geoff Gehman during, "On the Trail of Lassie's Tale: The Underdog Story of Eric Knight;s 'Lassie Come-Home'". Gehman will visit the Museum in celebration of the 80th Anniversary of Eric' Knight's "Lassie Come-Home". Listen and learn about the legacy of Knight's work as an author and the inspiration behind on of the best-known and most beloved dog-and-human story. Sit in for stories and a Q&A segment in our library.

    Fire Safety Training with Molly

    Wednesday, July 15 12pm — 1pm

    Molly, a Dalmatian with a red vest, badge and red toenails is a retired fire service dog for her fire department, honorary Fire Marshal for the Little Rock Fire Department and mascot for the Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation. Join us in the library to learn about fire safety and meet Molly!

    Canine Lymphoma Lecture

    Saturday, November 7 2pm — 5pm

    Join us for a lecture about the latest in lymphoma research on Canine Lymphoma Awareness Day! Brought to you by the Canine Health Foundation (CHF), this lecture is free and available from 2pm-3pm and 4pm-5pm.

    Visit the CHF website to learn more about the work of the foundation in funding scientific research and supporting the dissemination of health information to prevent, treat and cure canine disease.

    Service animals are welcome in the museum. The museum entrance is wheelchair accessible via the building’s main plaza on the corner of Park Ave and E 40th Street. Accessible elevators are located on the first floor of the museum to the left of the admissions desk and gift shop. Public restrooms include accessible facilities.
