Doggie Draw-A-Thon

The AKC is hosting Meet the Breeds January 28-29, 2023 at the Javits Center in NYC. Part of the fun includes an art contest for students ranging from kindergarten through undergrad. We are hosting a draw-a-thon in the Museum for those looking to take part in the contest ahead of the January 6, 2023 submission deadline.

Meet us in the AKC MoD library space Tuesday, December 27 through Friday, December 30 11am-6pm where we will have paper, crayons, colored pencils, and markers available as well as plenty of reference material to help your young folks complete a bark-worthy work of art!

Out of courtesy to our neighbors, only service dogs and invited demonstration dogs are allowed in the museum.

Accessibility

Service animals are welcome in the museum. The museum entrance is wheelchair accessible via the building’s main plaza on the corner of Park Ave and E 40th Street. Accessible elevators are located on the first floor of the museum to the left of the admissions desk and gift shop. Public restrooms include accessible facilities.
