Summer Storytime Series: Golden Retrievers

Saturday, June 24
11am

This summer, we are bringing in authors AND dogs for an exciting series of storytime events! At each program, participants will get to meet and chat with a children's book author, create a craft in theme with the book, and get up close with real dogs similar to those featured in the story. Pick up your own copy of the book in our shop and get it autographed right then and there!

On June 24th, join author Amulya Veldanda Vadali for a reading of her book Cosmo Faces the Forest of Fear.

Amulya Veldanda Vadali is a scientist and award-winning author from New Jersey. Her first children’s book, Cosmo Faces the Forest of Fear, is an exciting story about courage, starring her own golden retriever, Cosmo. The irony is that Amulya herself used to be terrified of dogs. But she was able to face her fear and today she is the biggest dog lover! Through her stories, Amulya hopes to share important life lessons with her young readers, while also letting them laugh and enjoy the journey!

Visitors of all ages will enjoy this event. Whether you are excited to hear the story or just want to visit with the dogs. This event is FREE for Members and included with General Admission.
