Our Dog Blue

It all started with the Bishop’s family dog, a large breed Airedale named Blue. During his lifetime, Blue had numerous battles with cancer, which prompted the Bishops to take a series interest in helping find a cure for this disease. It also inspired them to start Blue Buffalo and set a new standard in healthy pet food.

It’s Blue Buffalo’s philosophy that the simple things in life are the best things. Family is always first, and pets are part of our family. Companion animals like Blue enrich our lives every day and deserve to be honored and respected.

Blue Buffalo is passionate about advancing the health and well-being of our pets and preserving the special bond we share with them.
