Susan Bahary, a sculptor of Smoky statue in the AKC Museum of the Dog, tells a story of Smoky during the war. Smoky was a Yorkshire Terrier and a famous war dog who served World War II. Smoky was known for the beginning a renewal of interest in the Yorkshire Terrier.
